According to Bloomberg, OpenAI plans to redesign ChatGPT in the coming weeks into a superapp that integrates coding tools, image generation, and partner applications including Canva and Booking.com. The move aims to position OpenAI as a multi-step AI agent platform capable of handling complex tasks like travel booking and calendar management.

A separate report on June 3 detailed OpenAI's plan to merge Codex and ChatGPT into a unified superapp. OpenAI has already launched Operator, a web agent for travel booking, and partners with Booking.com to personalize travel recommendations.
