Singapore AI Biotech ChemT Raises $5M in Seed Round for Biologics Manufacturing

Singapore-based ChemT Biotechnology, an AI biotech startup, raised US$4 million in a seed round led by Wavemaker Ventures, with Seeds, Wavemaker 360 Health, Draper University Ventures, and Temasek Life Sciences Accelerator as co-investors. The funding brings ChemT's total capital to US$5 million. ChemT's CelMo virtual cell platform increased antibody output by 50% and reduced production timelines by 40% in Chinese hamster ovary cells, while its Chemplify product achieved 50% faster T-cell development and 60% lower costs.
