Tesla Q2 Deliveries Expected to Rise 19% Sequentially to 426,017 Units, Says GLJ Research

According to GLJ Research, Tesla's second-quarter deliveries are expected to reach approximately 426,017 vehicles, up 19% sequentially and 11% year-over-year. However, analyst Gordon Johnson cautioned that the forecast does not reflect accelerating demand, noting that Tesla entered Q2 with excess inventory after a 4% miss in Q1 deliveries and produced 50,363 more vehicles than it delivered in the period. Johnson reiterated a 'Sell' rating, attributing stronger Q2 expectations to typical seasonal tailwinds rather than improved demand fundamentals.
