Trump Cancels Iran Airstrike; U.S. Stocks Rally, Dow Up 712 Points on June 11

According to President Trump's Truth Social post, on June 11, Trump canceled a planned airstrike on Iran after discussions with Iranian leadership were approved at the highest level. The announcement eased Middle East conflict concerns, sending U.S. equities sharply higher: the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 712 points (up 1.5%), the S&P 500 rose 1.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.5%.

U.S. crude oil futures also retreated, with WTI dropping approximately 3% to around $87 per barrel as risk sentiment improved.
