U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yields Rise 2.4bp on June 10 as CPI Data Released

On June 10, U.S. Treasury yields climbed as the CPI inflation data was released. The 10-year benchmark Treasury yield rose 2.39 basis points to 4.5403%, reaching an intraday low of 4.5105% at the time of data release, then hitting a session high of 4.5562% after the Treasury Department disclosed its 10-year debt auction results. The 2-year Treasury yield gained 0.85 basis points to 4.1266%, while the 30-year yield increased 2.84 basis points to 5.0241%. The 2/10-year yield spread widened 1.539 basis points to 41.167 basis points. TIPS (Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities) yields also rose across the curve: the 10-year TIPS yield climbed 2.77 basis points to 2.1943%, while the 2-year TIPS yield jumped 4.80 basis points to 1.5863%.
