U.S. Air Force Unveils New Air Force One, $400M Boeing 747-8 Gifted by Qatar

According to CBS, the U.S. Air Force unveiled a new Air Force One presidential aircraft on June 19, a Boeing 747-8 valued at approximately $400 million and gifted by Qatar. The aircraft has arrived at Andrews Joint Base in Maryland and will undergo service certification flights before entering operational use. The Air Force confirmed the aircraft has completed required modifications and received its distinctive red, white, and blue livery with minimal cabin layout adjustments. This aircraft will serve temporarily as Air Force One until Boeing delivers a newly manufactured presidential aircraft to the Air Force in 2028.
