Vitol's Bahrain Chief Says Oil Market Underestimating Iran War Risks

At the S&P Global Energy Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference in London, Tom Baker, managing director of Vitol's Bahrain office, said the oil market is underestimating certain risks posed by the Iran conflict. Baker noted that while crude supply could recover, refineries may struggle to keep pace for the remainder of the year, as the global refining system faces capacity constraints amid geopolitical tensions.
