According to Beating, xAI announced that Grok Build, its command-line AI agent development tool, has integrated Composer 2.5, a high-performance coding model developed by Cursor. X Premium+ and SuperGrok subscribers can now switch to Composer 2.5 directly from the terminal menu.
Composer 2.5, released on May 18, is designed for multi-file code editing and long-context instruction following. The model leverages Kimi K2.5, an open-source foundation licensed by Moon-Whisperer, combined with Cursor's reinforcement learning training and synthetic task distillation. Key features include automatic error correction across files and support for quick commands such as /fork, /compact, and /copy. The integration stems from a computational resource-sharing partnership between Cursor and SpaceXAI.
