Ethereum Futures Show Bearish Signals on June 13, But Staking Demand and BitMine's 337K ETH Accumulation May Limit Downside

ETH-0.71%

According to BlockBeats, on June 13, Ethereum futures market displayed bearish indicators, with perpetual funding rates turning negative on June 5 and open interest declining 30% to a 13-month low. Spot Ethereum ETF inflows totaled $323 million in net outflows over the past two weeks, signaling weak institutional demand.

However, staking metrics and on-chain accumulation suggest potential support. ETH staking queue shows 2.9 million ETH awaiting entry with a 50-day wait, while 39.5 million ETH remains staked. Exchange ETH reserves fell from 16.15 million to 15.05 million in three months, and CoinGecko data shows BitMine added 337,078 ETH in the past 30 days, indicating sustained holder accumulation.
