According to The Block, IREN signed a transmission connection agreement on Wednesday (June 3) for an 800-megawatt data center campus in Bundey, South Australia, expected to launch in 2028 pending regulatory approval. The facility will connect to South Australia's high-voltage transmission network and serve Asia-Pacific AI demand, including Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan. IREN shares rose nearly 4% to $69 following the announcement.
