Nvidia Begins Pitching Vera CPU to China, Priced Above $20K, August Shipments Start

According to Reuters, on June 12, Nvidia has begun pitching its new Vera AI data center CPU to Chinese cloud providers, with first shipments targeted for August. A major Chinese cloud provider is planning to order over 300 dual-Vera servers for testing before deciding on larger-scale deployment.

Vera is priced above $20,000 per chip; a fully populated 256-chip rack costs approximately $10 million. Nvidia estimates fiscal-year Vera revenue at $20 billion.
