Nvidia Shares Rise 1.5% in Premarket as CEO Huang Calls Tech Selloff a Buying Opportunity

According to Bloomberg, Nvidia shares rose 1.5% in premarket trading on Monday as CEO Jensen Huang called the recent technology stock selloff a buying opportunity during a visit to Seoul. Huang told reporters that the AI infrastructure buildout is just beginning and investors should be excited about the opportunity to buy at a discount. The premarket gains also reflected a broader semiconductor rally, with Micron up 4%, AMD up 2%, and Intel up 0.5% after Friday's sharp decline. Nvidia also announced a partnership with South Korea's SK Hynix to supply memory chips and components for its Vera Rubin accelerators, which will begin shipping in the third quarter.
