Sequans Exits Bitcoin Treasury Strategy After Selling 80% of Holdings to Clear Debt

According to Odaily星球日报, Sequans Communications completed all debt redemptions related to its Bitcoin treasury strategy on Thursday, exiting the cryptocurrency asset strategy by selling approximately 80% of its BTC holdings. The French semiconductor company now holds 658 BTC and is debt-free, according to CEO Georges Karam. The company plans to gradually "monetize" its remaining Bitcoin holdings through future sales or on-chain methods, while refocusing on 4G/5G IoT and cellular semiconductor business including smart metering, asset tracking, connected vehicles, and industrial IoT applications.
