SpaceX Closes at $161 on IPO Debut, Reaching $2.1 Trillion Market Cap

According to CNBC's Jim Cramer, SpaceX debuted Friday (June 12) and closed at $161 per share, giving the rocket company a market value of roughly $2.1 trillion. Cramer said the successful offering could encourage other companies to tap the market soon, particularly artificial intelligence players like Anthropic, as well as established tech giants including Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon, which may decide to sell stock to fund their AI buildouts. "I don't know if they can resist selling stock after seeing how SpaceX played out," Cramer noted, adding that the strong debut could help support market sentiment in the week ahead.
