Iranian Scholar Accuses Netanyahu of Deliberately Undermining Iran-Israel Peace Talks

According to Foaud Izadi, a professor at Tehran University, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has deliberately undermined peace negotiations between Iran and the United States as of June 8. Izadi stated that Netanyahu attempted to sabotage and obstruct the talks, successfully achieving his goal, and that Israel has never shown genuine interest in peace. Izadi further noted that true ceasefire implementation ultimately depends on whether U.S. President Donald Trump is willing to impose constraints on Netanyahu and enforce effective ceasefire mechanisms.
